apoplectic

November 18, 2009

Watching just a brief segment this evening on ABC News of the Barbara Walters interview with Sarah Palin made me apoplectic. She is clueless on international affairs and the roots of hatred for the U.S. or perhaps her provincialism and jingoistic approach is just part of her demon b#@*h persona.

For decades the expansive settlement policy of the Zionists has frustrated and angered the advocates of justice for those displaced by the Irgun terrorists. She thinks this policy is just peachy keen.

She also keeps referring to President Obama’s “dithering” on Afghanistan policy, an approach I see as deliberate and wisely cautious. It would appear she is prone to the premature “mission accomplished” while we wade into a bloody mire approach. Just as in the Vietnam era military minds plodded forward in Hawkish mode while meticulous studies (Pentagon Papers) belied that approach, she sees a bully America as able by might to make right.

She blithely criticizes health care reform, blind to the barriers mothers less affluent than she face in raising a Trig like baby.

Personally I think the rituals of her sanctuary failed. She is possessed by the fiends of inanity.

Cacaphony of Catholic cant

November 12, 2009

The news today focuses on the Catholic diocese of Washington, DC and its threats to cease its charities to locals if DC oks gay marriage and protects gay rights. The position seems to be we reserve the right to refuse compassion to people based upon the way they are born (God created & not aborted, we presume). The obvious politics of this and the ludicrous illogic overwhelms me. Of course, anyone who’s seen the movie The Mission knows callous politics has a long history of eclipsing mercy and justice from the authorities of the church.

Puritanical mania

November 10, 2009

Are Republicans in some sort of Puritanical mania as they purge Dede Scozzafava and her ilk from their ranks. Moderation seems out of fashion. In Jason Horowitz’s Washington Post account of her pre-election experiences, we learn that as she sang in the United Methodist choir practice she determined to endorse the Democrat. As she sang of going down in the valley to pray she had her flashbacks of the vicious Palinesque name calling she had been subjected to. That’s right, Palin in the new Hope of the G.O.P. and she is a demon. All the witchcraft prayers have not saved her from being a nasty serpent with forked tongue spewing venom. All the hate hymns of the Palin mob will simply alienate the reasonable minds of America as we march toward the next ballot. But wait. Maybe the majority want the hideous excess of the radical Right.

My evidence

November 6, 2009

I see in recent news releases that scientists are once again speculating as to whether Neanderthals and Homo Sapiens had sex and whether we carry some Neanderthal genetic heritage. Personally I am convinced some modern humans are indeed Neanderthal remnants. My evidence? Teabaggers !!

Dede & Abdullah

November 2, 2009

Apparently I was prematurely painting a bleak picture of both Dede & Abdullah in my last post. Dede has declared her support for the Democrat Owens in defiance of her Republican naysayers. Abdullah has challenged the legitimacy of the quickie elections and suggested next spring would be better.
